Russ Ward

Designated Pilot Examiner

Russ Ward first started flying in 1993 and has since flown over 10,000 hours. He has worked as a flight instructor, pilot at a 121 regional airline where he was a Captain, Check Airman and Simulator Instructor, and most recently worked flying a 747-400 for a 121 cargo airline. He has also been a corporate pilot for a local company as well as the Chief Instructor for a 141 pilot school and has even taught classes for the local community college aviation program.

Russ currently is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner with examining authority for Private Pilot ASEL and AMEL, Instrument Airplane, Commercial Pilot ASEL and AMEL and CFI add-on ratings (CFI-I and MEI), renewals and reinstatements. 

Russ has a ATP AMEL, Commercial ASEL, CFI-I and MEI certificates and holds type ratings on the CL-65, CE-560XL and B-747-4. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
